Our Tactical Shotgun courses provide a comprehensive and practical approach in the operational functions and tactical application of the Shotgun.

Students will develop reflexive gun-handling skills that will enable them to quickly and efficiently engage threats while performing multiple complex tasks.

This firearms training course takes the student beyond the basics of the shotgun and introduces the student to deployment techniques that are critical when deploying the shotgun for personal defense.

Loading and Unloading; Firing Stance; The Three Secrets; Carry Positions; Patterning; Offhand, Kneeling, Prone; Target Engagement from 7-25 yards under Time Pressure; Multiple Targets; Tactical Reloading; Emergency Reloading; Select Slug Drill with Firing out to 50 Yards; Malfunction Clearances.

This intermediate-advanced firearms training course focuses on tactical speed shooting and development of aggressive gun-handling skills during tactical deployment of the shotgun for personal protection and home defense.

Students have the option to use pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns in this course. Shotguns must be 12 gauge and have a side receiver ejection port.

Covers all aspects in the selection and operational characteristics of the law enforcement / military style shotgun and introduces a variety of techniques necessary for the operation of the shotgun under survival stress conditions. Also covered in this course are Load Selection and Patterning, Sight Applications and Target Zoning at close and medium range distances, Carry & Deployment Positions and Sustained & Select Loading Techniques. Integrated into this process are several tactical skills including Situational Awareness and Evasive Movement.

If you register for this training, and haven't taken our Urban Shotgun 1, or it's been more than 5 weeks, we will require you perform a "cold bore" qualification. If you fail your qualification, you are required to re-schedule for the preceding level of firearm training. With that, please be honest with yourself and DO NOT pay for a training beyond your skill level.
