Must Currently Be A Security Guard/Professional Level 4 Or Police Officer!

Tier 1 Security Contractor Course

After clearing and mastering the precepts, concepts, theories and methodologies of security levels of TxDPS II,III, & IV this course (18 hours) verifies (through qualification) the mastery of the prior mentioned fundamentals along with the skills necessary to properly deploy to any high threat or security contractor detail. The class will progress from the very basics of security patrol to the real world HIGH THREAT environments be it in the continent of the U.S. or overseas. This course places the most emphasis on improving the shooter's ability to make decisions under stress and to make rapid multiple shots on both single and multiple targets at varying distances and protecting high priority assets as well as clients. This class is primarily for those currently certified with at least the TxDPS Level III!

Pre-Requisite: TxDPS Security Level III

Pre-Qual: All guards must pass Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun Qual with an 85% the 1st day of the course

What to Bring: These Items are required:

-Pistol and 250 rounds

-Shotgun and 100 rounds (25 slug, 25 00-Buck, 50 bird)

-AR15/AR-Pistol/SBR ammo 300 rounds

-Hearing & Eye protection

-Complete Security Belt & Gear (Vest/Helmet/Etc)

-Clothing suitable for the weather, Ball cap, Sunscreen, Bottled water (lots of water!), Hand towel, snack. And the willingness to learn new techniques and an open mind. If it's raining, we are still training!
