Akofena Academy is offering a 2-day symposium to cover every area of security for the security professional!

October 13th-October 15th 2023

Who Can Attend? Anyone at any level of Security, Civilian, and Law Enforcement…Yes firearms and holsters are available to rent.

This 2-day intensive will cover

• Firearm fundamentals (pistol & rifle)

  • A curriculum written to push your limits to progress you to your next level

• Stop The Bleed & First Aid

  • Learning to survive and aid in another’s survival in the field

• Complete “Infill & Exfill” Techniques

  • This will include airport movement and transport to events and back. Literally from the aircraft, to the hotel, to the function, and back to the aircraft (yes a real aircraft at a real airport, with a real person to a real function)

• TxDPSPSB & TCOLE Patrol Theories & Techniques

  • Securing posts (areas & edifices)

• TxDPSPSB & TCOLE Crowd Control Theories & Techniques

  • From pat downs to crowd movement

Day 1: SEPTEMBER 29th

• 6pm Meet for sign in, safety brief.

• 7pm Classroom Entry Studies & Overview

Day 2: September 30th

• 9am Pistol intensive

• Patrol, Crowd control, De-Escalation

• In-fill/ex-fill

• Stop The Bleed

• Convoy Concepts

• Defensive Tactics

• COMPLETE Night Operations

Day 3: October 1st

• 9a Rifle Intensive

• Security/LE drills and concepts

• Award Ceremony

This 2-day curriculum (48hr) will provide training, continuing education credit, and certification (for those applicable)!

Please bring all security gear

• Full duty belt if applicable

• Full Vest if applicable

• Concealed Carry Gear

• Pistol with 300 rounds

• Rifle with sling and 200 rounds if applicable

• Pants and Shirt for the range

• Your Uniform of choice for post & patrol (Yes a real function)

• Executive Protection Gear (your suit of choice) (concealed carry)
